Tools
Over the years there have been many forms that I have used to engage the public in dialogue about complex issues. Below are most of them along with things I have learned while using them. I am deeply grateful to a host of educators and artists who have taught and shared these with me. They are offered here as tools that you can use in your own context, for your own purposes. I like the tool metaphor for these because it is never assumed we know how to use a tool the first time we pick it up. Those skills need to be learned and honed. And tools can be shared. And what you build with tools can be varied and unique.
